Like any TCG, the Cyberpunk TCG offers a variety of rarity tiers. You’ve got your bread-and-cybernetic-butter with Commons and Uncommons before moving on to the elusive chase cards. Whether you’re a new player looking to start collecting or a returning fan of Night City, here’s what each rarity means.

All Cyberpunk TCG rarities in order

There are seven main rarity categories in the Cyberpunk TCG when including the special-distribution Nova Rare cards. Here’s how to identify each one by its rarity symbol:

Commons, Uncommons, and Rares are the cards you’ll encounter most often in booster packs. Epic Rares and Secret Rares become progressively harder to find, while Iconic Rares are among the set’s most elusive chase cards. Iconic cards also feature distinct artwork, making them particularly appealing to collectors.

Nova Rare cards sit outside the standard booster rarity ladder. They’re distributed through events, special products, and other promotional releases, rather than being part of the usual booster-card pool. They aren’t automatically rarer than Iconic cards, though their limited distribution can make certain promos difficult to obtain.

You can see the different rarity symbols in the image below.

Cyberpunk TCG pull rates

Pull rates can vary between sets, but a standard 12-card booster pack contains seven Commons, three Uncommons, and two Rare-or-better cards.

The first 10 cards make up the bulk of the pack, while the final two slots are where you’ll find the higher rarities. These slots can contain different combinations of Rare, Epic Rare, Secret Rare, and Iconic Rare cards, depending on the pack’s contents and the set’s collation.

That means opening a booster doesn’t guarantee an Iconic Rare. You could find two standard Rares, a higher-rarity card alongside a Rare, or another combination allowed by the set’s collation.
