Kanto Post is an independent publication with a focus on the Pokémon franchise, including the Pokémon TCG, Pokémon videogames, and more. Founded by Callum Self, videogames journalist and former Wargamer author for Pokémon TCG content, Kanto Post is your one-stop shop for all things related to our favorite franchise.

Ad-supported, but member-focused

Kanto Post uses a small amount of ads to help with funding the site, but this is a secondary focus to our main income - memberships. We don't believe spamming you is a good choice. You'll only get the latest news stories that might interest you, interesting guides (like the latest set's reveal or pre-order guides), and more content that we know you'll enjoy.

Kanto Post won't share something we didn't enjoy writing. Whether it's a hot take, a guide, or a news story, everything is written with the passion that the Pokémon franchise deserves. We're true fans, and readers deserve to have articles written by someone knowledgeable.

We may occasionally share advertisements in posts and/or newsletters - this is to help fund the content you enjoy. However, these will remain tied to Nintendo platforms or TCG-related content (including other TCGs, accessories, and more).
