# A full Palworld Dawn of Palpagos collection would set you more than £6,000

**Palworld Dawn of Palpagos** has been out for a couple of months now. With stock shortages still prevalent and prices fluctuating, the dust has started to settle somewhat. Unsurprisingly, many of the **Palworld cards** from the debut set have ridiculously high values, but when I found out how much a master set would cost, I still almost had a heart attack.

I expected the [Dawn of Palpagos chase cards](https://www.kantopost.com/palworld-official-card-game/dawn-of-palpagos-chase-cards/) to command higher prices, as is the case with pretty much every TCG, and the [Palworld Official Card Game](https://www.kantopost.com/tag/palworld-official-card-game/) is no different. However, while early signs pointed towards the [Jormuntide Ignis](https://www.kantopost.com/palworld-official-card-game/jormuntide-ignis-pre-sale/) and elusive [Cattiva gold card](https://www.kantopost.com/palworld-official-card-game/sss-cattiva-dawn-of-palpagos-card/) dominating the market, I expected things to simmer down.

Sadly, that hasn’t been the case. While most of the higher [Palworld rarity](https://www.kantopost.com/palworld-official-card-game/rarities/) cards have dropped in value since release, Cattiva has only gone up. Recent eBay sales put it around the £2,800-£3,800 price range. Initial sales had it at similar prices right out of the gate, but it soon dropped to around £700-£900\. Now, it’s crept back up. And by crept, I mean shot up like a rocket.

The Chillet and Jormuntide SSPs have settled around the £500 mark each, while Lyleen and Helzephyr sell for around £370 and £207, respectively. According to Collectr, 13 of the set’s 120 cards are worth more than £74, but they make up for it in an expensive way.

According to the market-tracking app, collecting every card in the set would currently cost an eye-watering £6,080 / $8,226, making it a high four-digit behemoth for a debut expansion. Is it initial hype? TCGs being treated more as investment assets than ever before? Or perhaps it’s because Palworld is arguably the easiest translation for Pokémon TCG collectors? In all honesty, it could be all three.

Either way, if you’re looking to buy the full set, and considering that individual booster boxes go for roughly $140 / £104 (once again, according to [Collectr](https://getcollectr.com/?ref=kantopost.com)), you might want to sell your house.
