Hey, everyone! This is a more personal article than my usual fare. Despite being called Kanto Post, I created this website with the hope that I'd eventually expand its library of content to cover other TCGs. That started with Palworld, which has been a huge success for the site. I've received plenty of emails from happy readers who enjoy the coverage, and I've also seen a huge uptick in people reading my articles, sharing them online, and even writing about them themselves. All of that has been a massive boost for Kanto Post. If you've been one of those readers, thank you!

So, with the **Cyberpunk TCG** releasing on Friday, 6th November, I wanted to do something similar. After plenty of thought, and using the single brain cell I have bouncing around in my head, I'm happy to share that I'll be covering Night City's greatest and most infamous characters as the game launches. Starting today, you can expect some Cyberpunk TCG pre-launch coverage, followed by the occasional news story after release.

"Why are you telling us?" Good question. I wanted to let readers know about this ahead of time and reassure you that Kanto Post is still a Pokémon-first website. My coverage has shown me that plenty of people enjoy not only my articles about the latest [Pokémon TCG](https://www.kantopost.com/tag/pokemon-tcg/) chase cards, but also my opinions on other trading card games. There are plenty of TCGs out there, and while most don't get me as excited as Squirtle and co., [Palworld](https://www.kantopost.com/tag/palworld-official-card-game/) was one that caught my attention. The Cyberpunk TCG is another.

As I did with Palworld, I'll be focusing on the collecting side of the Cyberpunk TCG. I tend to play trading card games only briefly, but I've always been more interested in examining the artwork, desirability, and appeal of chase cards than digging into the mechanics or competitive side of the game. That won't be any different here. Night City's legendary characters are perfect subjects for a closer look, especially when I'm already thinking about which cards I'd want to add to my own binders. I think there's some great content to be made here, and, most importantly, it's the kind of thing I enjoy writing about.
