**Cyberpunk TCG**’s debut expansion, Welcome to Night City, hasn’t had its official release yet—that comes on Friday, 6 November—but that hasn’t stopped WeirdCo from revealing the next expansion, and now we’ve got a release date for it, too.

[Cyberpunk TCG celebrates Edgerunners Season 2 with a new set revealIn celebration of the anime’s second season, Cyberpunk TCG is getting an Edgerunners set in spring 2027.![](https://www.kantopost.com/content/images/icon/KantoPost_Favicon_1000-18737b72-29f2-496d-9418-f13954f20c2f.png)Kanto PostCallum Self![](https://www.kantopost.com/content/images/thumbnail/cyberpunk-tcg-edgerunners-set-274ea573-21dd-4e71-ba7a-1c75c568aa15.jpg)](https://www.kantopost.com/cyberpunk-tcg/edgerunners-burn-bright-reveal/)

As announced by the [Cyberpunk TCG](https://www.kantopost.com/tag/cyberpunk-tcg/) creator, Cyberpunk TCG: Edgerunners - Burn Bright will be released on 2 April 2027, with pre-release events starting on 26 March, just one week prior. That means that, right now, there’s a roughly five-month gap between sets, and honestly, I prefer that timeline.

Edgerunners - Burn Bright was [revealed last week](https://www.kantopost.com/pokemon-tcg/delta-reign-storm-emerelda-gap/), alongside the new Cyberpunk 2077 update and the Edgerunners Season 2 release. While cards for the set are currently secret, locked in WeirdCo’s Arasaka-style vault, there’s going to be a new [Cyberpunk TCG rarity](https://www.kantopost.com/cyberpunk-tcg/rarities-2/), as well as designs influenced by the anime style of the Netflix show.

While [Welcome to Night City chase cards](https://www.kantopost.com/cyberpunk-tcg/welcome-to-night-city-chase-cards/) have a more mature artistic design similar to CD Projekt Red’s game, I’m actually excited to see what WeirdCo does using Edgerunners’ style. Of course, I’m expecting the same violent and mature aspects that the franchise offers, but I think its vibrancy might help make it stand out.

In other news, WeirdCo has released a new blog on the Cyberpunk TCG website that gives anyone attending Welcome to Night City pre-release events some tips and tricks. If you’re attending, give it a read [here](https://cyberpunktcg.com/blog/pr-tips?ref=kantopost.com).
